A zombie apocalypse is the farthest thing from many peoples mind. Yet it was declared by the American government to be scientifically possible. So if you aren't taking that type of warning serious enough then your going to be the one struggling to survive. If you are viewing this article I am going to assume you want something more. You not only want to survive, but to be wealthy while doing so. Here is how to do just that.
Blankets and warm clothes should be the first of many things to stockpile. When paper currency is no longer valuable items and bartering take its place. You'll find that during the winter many, many people are going to need blankets and warm clothes. It is essential for not only survival but life itself. Jackets, sweatshirts, and blankets are going to become hot commodities and if you play your cards right, you will have plenty of them. Boots are another essential barter item you can have. Regular shoes are not going to cut it if you have to travel miles upon miles to a destination. Boots can do this without a problem.
Next on your list to start stockpiling are tools. Sure power tools are convenient and work extremely well, but what if there is a lack of electricity? Or no electricity at all? You should always be prepared, especially if there isn't a working outlet in the country. Regular tools now become the best and most effective tools to have. They will come in handy if you have to trade, build, or repair something.
Now just because the electricity grid has been destroyed does not mean the sun has. Solar panels might just be your best hope to create an electrical current. Many stores sell these and you can even purchase them on eBay used. I don't recommend buying them used. Especially if you think a collapse is in the near future. Buy it new and store it safely. A few solar panels, converts, and inverts will be worth much more than a pound of gold.
Zombie attacks are going to be imminent in a zombie apocalypse. Your best weapon to be safe is either a modern bunker, or a safe-house with lots of weapons. Stockpiling on weapons is natural among even normal, everyday people. You can have enough ammunition, guns, or hand weapons. Especially when having to protect yourself from bandits, thugs, and thieves. Not to mention zombies themselves. Having an arsenal of mixed weapons that are functional and reliable will be worth more than you can imagine.
A zombie apocalypse may never happen. Then again, it could happen tomorrow. Are you prepared?
